Hosted by local police detachments, the conference is offered in schools and at public events throughout the province of Quebec. The goal of the conference is to educate participants about the dangers of excessive speed and remind participants of the importance of wearing a seat belt. Presenters discuss some of the dangers associated with not wearing a seat belt, including the risk of ejection and the circulation of flying objects inside the vehicle. The Tournée Party sans Déraper uses a series of fun activities to educate young people about the importance of acting responsibly when it comes to alcohol consumption and impaired driving. Activities include an obstacle course completed using Fatal Vision goggles, arrest simulations, advice to party organizers, and quizzes. These games help promote road safety in a fun, non-moralistic way. Participants also have the chance to wear Fatal Vision goggles which simulate a state of being impaired and reproduce the effects of reflexes influenced by alcohol.
